Pinnacle's HIGH DEFINITION (HD) INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) CAMERA is capable of recording at six times the resolution of Pinnacle's box and dome cameras. The camera uses a single cable for power and data transfer. A separate, automatic infrared illumination (IR) source allows video capture in conditions of reduced lighting and complete darkness. The camera package supports flexible mounting options. Camera purchase includes a Sirenia® video license key.
The HD camera can be easily mounted above the cage using Pinnacle's standard mounting plate. A clamp, included in the kit, also supports mounting to the cage stand for recording at alternate angles.
An optional tripod can be used with the HD camera to enable recording at low angles.
A separate IR source provides excellent illumination and low-light image quality. It automatically adjusts to lighting conditions or can be set manually. The IR source can be easily attached to Pinnacle's standard mounting plate.
The included Sirenia® video license key allows video to be synchronized within 100 milliseconds to other data recorded from Pinnacle hardware. Learn more about data synchronization below.

Each camera purchased includes a license key that unlocks video functionality in Sirenia® Acquisition. The software allows captured video to be displayed live on screen in conjunction with data as it is streamed from the animal. In playback mode, video is synchronized with other recorded data, allowing EEG/EMG waveforms or biosensor activity to be analyzed along with an accurate visual representation of animal activity during data collection.
ACQUIRE
Pinnacle's Sirenia® software uses frame-by-frame timestamping to synchronize video within 100 milliseconds to simultaneous EEG, EMG, or biosensor data.
ANALYZE
The Sync Bar allows users to easily match the displayed video frame with corresponding data for accurate visual representation of animal activity.
MANAGE
Extract segments from long recordings for simplified data transfer or archival. Plus, export video with associated data to AVI for playback during presentations.
Pinnacle offers two high definition camera kits. The kits include one camera, a 2.8 - 12 mm variable focus lens, an IR source, a mounting clamp, and one Sirenia® video license key. The 9000-K11 kit also includes an Ethernet POE switch that supports a total of four cameras. Purchase 9000-K12 to incorporate additional cameras into your setup. The data conditioning and acquisition system (DCAS), swivel, and camera can be mounted on this plate. A mounting plate is included with the purchase of Pinnacle's three-channel and four-channel EEG/EMG systems.
