Changes to an Order
Pinnacle will work hard to assist you if you need to change an order prior to shipping. Please call the Company directly at 785-832-8866 for assistance. However, sensor and custom orders fall under different conditions. Sensor orders that have entered the manufacturing process (in general 9 days before the delivery date) cannot be changed. Custom orders that have entered the manufacturing process cannot be changed.
Pinnacle reserves the right to change or discontinue any product without notice. If a product is discontinued, we can recommend alternatives
All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact a Pinnacle Technology Inc. representative to obtain an RMA number and proper RMA documentation. Returns should be shipped to Pinnacle Technology Inc. within 30 days of RMA number issuence. RMA documentation must be included in the return shipment, and the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Standard items that have not been used or damaged may be returned within 10 days of original delivery for a credit or refund. A 15% restock charge will be deducted from the refund or credit at Pinnacle Technology Inc.'s discretion. Pinnacle Technology Inc. does not offer refunds or credits on special, custom, or made-to-order products with custom modifications. All products returned for repair or replacement must be sanitary, cleaned properly, and securely packaged.
In general, products are warrented against defects in material and workmanship. Purchasers must comply with Pinnacle Technology Inc.'s policy regarding returns.
Limited Hardware Warranties
Most of Pinnacle hardware products come with a 1-year limited hardware warranty. This limited hardware warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your Pinnacle- branded hardware products. Computers sold by Pinnacle have a 90-day limited hardware warranty. Biosensors and Sensors have no warranty or a 21-day warranty discussed separately below. This limited hardware warranty does not cover:
- Non Pinnacle-branded products and accessories
- Problems that result, directly or indirectly, from:
-- External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse or problems with electrical power.
-- Servicing not authorized by Pinnacle.
-- Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions.
-- Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
-- Using accessories, parts or components not supplied by Pinnacle.
- Products with missing or altered serial numbers
- Products for which Pinnacle has not received payment
- Normal wear and tear
-Animals chewing on the headstages or cables
Pinnacle Biosensor Warranty
Contact Pinnacle for additional information. Any mishandling of the biosensor can void the warranty. Warranty Specification The biosensor warranty applies only to the first pre-calibration performed by the customer (prior to in vivo use). Standard Pinnacle 80 and 180 μm Glutamate, Glucose, Lactate and Choline sensors have warranties. Ethanol and custom sensors are not warrantied. Pre-calibrations should be performed as described in the Pinnacle Biosensor Manual.

The instructions detailed in the Pinnacle Biosensor Manual for pre-calibration must be followed for warranty. If any biosensor covered by the Warranty above does not meet minimum specifications, Pinnacle will replace the biosensor. Please contact Pinnacle for a replacement sensor. Upon request, Pinnacle reserves the right to see the customer's pre-calibration data prior to issuing a replacement biosensor. This limited warranty represents the exclusive remedy for any covered biosensor defect or failure and the total liability of Pinnacle Technology, Inc.
