- * V 1.5.8 and 1.5.9 contained an error that would cause logging to stop after approximately 3 hours. This has been corrected in 1.5.10

- Set Experiment Name - This menu item allows the name on the Title Bar and minimized icon to be changed. This is particularly useful as a means of identification when using multiple instances of PAL on a single machine.
- 3101 Negative Values - Fixed a bug that would cause 3101s to return incorrect (large negative offset) values if a true negative is seen at the 3101 input.
- Gain Adjust - Pinnacle potentiostats have factory set gain; however, there are many occasions when this gain is selectively changed to accomodate a particular experimental set-up. The gain adjust input can be used to properly scale input received from potentiostats with non-default gains.
- Comment Handling - When acquiring data, comments can be moved at any time, and the changes will be recorded in the log file. When viewing a file, comments are locked by default and cannot be moved. If they are unlocked (File/log/comments/locked), they can be moved about at will and the change will be recorded in the existing log file. During analysis comments are also displayed in alternating red and blue to make it easier to read the text, and a comment toggle has been added to the right-click pop-up menu to hide/show comments.
- 3100 Autozero Erase - The command Advanced/Acquisition Source/Reset will now reset the channel offset values (after autozeroing) to zero. There can be some confusion if an autozero is performed while a sensor is connected or the electronics is in an error state. This provides a method of reestablishing sanity.
- Experiment Overview - In the past, the experiment overview (after opening a log file) could fail to display data if some packet loss had occured. This has been corrected. Averaging has also removed from overviews. Averaging can cause confusing distortion in certain cases.
- Export - The direct export to Excel has been removed due to difficulties in achieving consistent behavior between windows platforms. A simple "Export to Spreadsheet" function now provides direct storage in tab delimited format. This is compatible with a wide range of spreadsheets and European storage formats. Comments are also exported, and a 65,000 point limit has been imposed for Excel compatibility. If the selected range contains more than 65,000 data points, every nth point will be exported.
- Updated print support
- RF dropout analysis - A new entry in the "Display File Info" window calculates the total percentage of RF dropout. This is useful when optimizing RF performance.
- Nearest Neighbor Averaging - An option has been added for averaging over nearest neighbor bins. This function is invoked via the "right click" pop-up menu.
- 3101 Firmware upgrade - decreases RF dropout and increases range. In this firmware revision, the basestation must be given the ID of the 3101 at power up. This information will be lost at power down and the old "FF" input to force pairing with the next 3101 heard from has been disabled.
