Simplified Download Procedure 

** These instructions apply for any upgrade from version 1.2.0 or higher and only apply 
to windows 98+ users. For other users, or if you have any difficulty running the update 
software, please contact us.

Step 1) 	Download the new software to a convenient location on your computer (ie c:\temp)

Step 2) 	Unzip the software archive.

Step 3) 	Remove the top of the IDTRH (4 screws on the bottom) and place the switch in the 
	back left side of the box in the "TEST" position.

Step 4) 	Connect a serial cable between a com port on your PC and the serial connector on 
	the back of your IDTRH.

Step 5) 	Plug in the IDTRH

Step 6) 	Go the the location of the downloaded update software and double click on Etherflash.exe

Step 7) 	From the "Com Port" pull down menu select "Open COM Port" and select the com port that is 
	connected to the IDTRH. ***If the com port fails to open, make sure that all other utilities which 
	use the com port (ie. Palm HotSync) are disabled.

Step 8) 	From the "Flash" pull down menu, select update IDTRH software, and wait while the new 
	software is loaded onto your IDTRH. This may take several minutes. Progress bars will be displayed 
	and "Software Successfully Updated" will be displayed when the operation is complete.

Step 9) 	Unplug the IDTRH. Make sure that the switch on the main board is placed back in the "RUN" 
	position, and replace the IDTRH top cover. Be careful to not overtighten the screws.

That's it - your software is updated! All user configurations (password, network) will be unchanged.
