This position is responsible for the direct sales of all our
measurement and instrumentation products and the development of strong
customer relations at target accounts and maintenance of positive
customer satisfaction in assigned territory and markets.
Duties include account management, account penetration, participation
in the development of new product ideas and account/territory
forecasting.
Duties
include developing and implementing sales strategies with focus at the
local, region and national levels. This includes account management,
account penetration, account retention, account/market forecasting, and
identifying current and future market potential for the pre-clinical
laboratory use of the Pinnacle Biomedical Product Portfolio.
Identify and
develop relationships with key groups and product areas within target
customer facilities that have a need for Company’s
Measurement products.
Coordinate
the strategic use of this information with Company’s
sales
and marketing personnel to maximize account penetration and sales in
both domestic and international markets.
Monitor
product sales, working closely with Marketing, Customer Service and
Customer Operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responds to
requests for service and assistance.
Provide
feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to
enhance profitability of sales line.
Provide
feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the
development of marketing policy, recommended products and product line
revisions as well as pricing changes. Participate in the
development of new product ideas.
Maintains
up-to-date understanding of competitors’ activities and
competitive offerings.
Maintains
up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
that affect target markets.
Work closely
with Inside Sales to close small account orders most
efficiently.
Conduct
presentations and demonstrations of Company products and
capabilities.
Coordinate
the development of proposals and quotations as necessary.
Assist other
departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical
publications.
Represent company
at National, Regional and Local product trade shows and product
exhibitions.
Promote the
Pinnacle Technology customer oriented culture through positive, ongoing
relationships and activities.
Achieve
sales goals and objectives.
Daily and
overnight travel within designated territory is required.
The
successful candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s
Degree, BSEE or other, additional Advanced Degree preferred.
Must have
3-5 years of successful sales engineering experience; prefer experience
in the Life Sciences/Biomedical/Pre-Clinical Laboratory Research
Environment.
Experience
with Biosensor and/or EEG/EMG systems within animal research
environments desired, but not required.
Candidate
must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both
written and oral negotiation and presentation skills.
Position
requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales
strategies.
Travel is
required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either
individually or with other personnel.
Must
have excellent organization, communication and time management skills.
Ability to
understand and adapt to customers’ changing needs.
