We have added preprogrammed and custom waveform capabilities to our FSCV system. Preprogrammed waveforms can be simply implemented using Pinnacle’s FSCV software for the optimized detection of a variety of analytes including dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, and adenosine. Custom waveforms can be easily uploaded and stored in a drop-down menu for quick selection.
Pinnacle’s robust, turn-key FSCV SYSTEM is designed to simplify the measurement of catecholamines (i.e., dopamine, norepinephrine, etc.) and other electroactive analytes such as adenosine. It functions by rapidly cycling a voltage across an implanted carbon fiber sensor and measuring the resultant current. Both the tethered system for mice and rats and the wireless system for rats have built-in support for controlling an external stimulus and software is included.
Pinnacle’s FSCV software supports traditional, short recording paradigms (recordings of two minutes or less) as well as longer term recordings using an extended, continuous mode. FSCV software provides the user with background subtraction, heat maps, user-selectable filters, custom and preprogrammed waveforms, data export, and 3-D Visualization (seen below).
