EEG/EMG SYSTEMS

Pinnacle offers three and four channel biopotential recording systems for sleep, seizure and general behavioral paradigms in mice and rats. All of Pinnacle’s EEG/EMG SYSTEMS use headmounted preamplifiers reducing signal artifact due to cable movement and producing exceptionally clean waveforms, even during waking and animal movement.

Prefabricated headmounts and electrodes are available to reduce surgery time and sampling rates are adjustable from 200-2,000 Hz on all channels. Channels also feature 50 to 1,000 times adjustable gain, 10-1,000 Hz low pass filters, and 0.5, 1.0, or 10 Hz high pass filters.

An integrated, SYNCHRONIZED VIDEO SYSTEM is available to enable simultaneous correlation of behavioral and biopotential activity. Free acquisition is available that handles data acquisition, data visualization, basic analysis and data exportation.

TYPES OF SYSTEMS:
3 CHANNEL EEG/EMG SYSTEMS

Pinnacle’s 8200 SYSTEM provides a turn-key solution for recording three biopotential channels. The system may be used for cortical measurements and depth-electrode recordings. It is configurable as two EEG and one EMG or three EEG channels.

FEATURES:
• Available for mice and rats
• 3 configurable channels for 2 EEG/ 1 EMG or 3 EEG (One   fully differential channel)
• Optimized for sleep or seizure experiments
• Sampling rate up to 2,000 Hz per channel
• Acquisition software included

4 CHANNEL EEG/EMG SYSTEMS

Pinnacle’s 8401 data conditioning and acquisition system (DCAS) features four data channels configurable to fit researcher’s needs. This system has been utilized to provide a tethered turn-key solution for recording four channels of EEG or EMG from mice or rats during sleep, seizure, and behavioral studies. The system provides all the same great features of the three channel system along with the extra channel and the added capability of incorporating a biosensor measurement in future upgrades.

FEATURES
• Available for mice and rats
• Same benefits and clarity of 8200 recordings
• 4 configurable channels for 3 EEG/ 1 EMG or 4 EEG (Two fully differential channel)
• ABILITY to incorporate one or more biosensors into studies
(4 CHANNEL EEG/EMG COMBINED BIOSENSOR SYSTEM)
