Pinnacle Technology is concerned that the trade of conflict minerals mined in the eastern provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or any of its neighboring countries, which include: Angola, Burundi, the Central African Republic, The Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, or Zambia, may be fueling human rights atrocities in the region. These minerals and their refined metals - tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold (3TG) - are widely used electronic components and solder used by Pinnacle to make their products. As a result, we support the actions of governments and organizations to increase supply chain transparency and enable companies to source conflict-free minerals.

Pursuant to Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted new rules requiring companies to provide disclosure regarding use of conflict minerals. Currently, regardless of their country of origin, gold, tin, tungsten and tantalum are all considered conflict minerals. Under the new rules, customers must perform a good faith reasonable country of origin inquiry into whether any of those conflict minerals are from scrap or recycled sources or originated in the Democratic Republic of Congo or any of its neighboring countries, We are aware of the law and continue to monitor the ongoing SEC developments and implementation of requirements.

Although as a private company Pinnacle is not subject to the provisions of the Dodd - Frank Act as written, Pinnacle is committed to assisting our customers in compliance and/or reporting requirements and we are committed to the pursuit of responsible procurement practices. We understand that many of our customers are required to do their due diligence and in the process have inquired or will be inquiring about the use of conflict minerals in the products we distribute.

Pinnacle is not a direct purchaser of ore or unrefined minerals, or a manufacturer of electronics parts or components. Therefore, we are not in the best position to provide accurate information relating to the use of conflict minerals which are contained in the components we use in the assembly of the products we manufacture. The electronic component manufacturers are the only source of accurate information regarding raw materials including any conflict minerals, used in manufacture of their products. In order to assist with determining compliance, Pinnacle works with suppliers, OEM's and third parties where appropriate to assist in documenting the sources of any potential conflict minerals used in the manufacture of the components we purchase. We insist that our supply base exercise diligence in their efforts to comply with applicable Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) practices/procedures and utilize the EICC conflict minerals template for reporting consistency.

Pinnacle understands the importance of this issue to our customers. We are committed to the pursuit of responsible procurement practices and have no intention, directly or indirectly, of abetting the human rights violations identified in the Democratic Republic of Congo (the "DRC") and adjoining countries. We will take the required steps to source from socially responsible suppliers when the choice of supplier is within our control and encourage our customers and suppliers to do the same.
