MEET THE OFFICERS

Donna Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, has over 30 years experience in applied research and engineering projects. Before opening Pinnacle in 1995, she held positions as Director of Engineering & Research with several small businesses and worked for various federal and state organizations including the U.S. House of Representatives, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Environmental Protection Agency and the University of Connecticut. She has a B.S. and M.S. in Botany from the University of Rhode Island and studied for her Ph.D. in Oceanography at the University of Connecticut. She has served on the Board of Directors for Kansas Inc., Lawrence Technology Association and the Board of Trustees for the Kansas University Center for Research.

Dave Johnson, Chief Technology Officer, has over 15 years of experience guiding Pinnacle projects from the idea stage to the development and distribution of commercial products. He has managed development projects in both academic and industrial settings. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.

Pete Petillo, Chief Science Officer, oversees all chemical and biological research activities at Pinnacle. He has managed basic research and development projects in both industrial and academic settings. Some of his most notable accomplishments include successfully introducing small molecule therapeutics into clinical trials, planning and implementing patents and patent estate strategies, and continually advancing product validation efforts at Pinnacle Technology. He studied at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research after receiving his PhD in Chemistry and Biophysics from the University of Wisconsin.
