4 CHANNEL EEG/EMG SYSTEMS

Pinnacle’s 8401 DATA CONDITIONING AND ACQUISITION SYSTEM (DCAS) features four data channels configurable to fit researcher’s needs. This system has been utilized to provide a tethered turn-key solution for recording four channels of EEG or EMG from mice or rats during sleep, seizure, and behavioral studies.

TYPES OF SYSTEMS:
TETHERED

The 8400 SYSTEM is engineered to deliver the cleanest artifact-free waveforms available for biopotential recordings by employing a head-mounted preamplifier that delivers 10-100 times amplification and first stage filtering. The system supports sampling rates from 200-2000 Hz with 14 bit resolution on each channel. Each channel features independent, 50 to 1000 times adjustable gain, 10-1000 Hz low pass filters, and 0.5, 1.0, or 10 Hz high pass filters. adjustable gain, 10 - 1,000 Hz low pass filters, and 0.5, 1.0, or 10 Hz high pass filters.

An integrated, synchronized video system is available to enable simultaneous correlation of behavioral and biopotential activity. Additionally, the 8400 is extremely flexible, allowing researchers to add a biosensor channel by simply changing preamplifier configurations.
