Pinnacle’s THREE-CHANNEL TETHERED SYSTEMS allow researchers to simultaneously record three channels of EEG and/or EMG data. The data conditioning and acquisition system (DCAS) and preamplifier are preconfigured and ordered as a matching pair. Standard configurations include 2 EEG/1 EMG channels for sleep or seizure studies and 3 EEG channels for seizure research.
OUR TURN-KEY SYSTEMS are engineered to deliver clean, artifact-free data. EEG and EMG waveforms are amplified and filtered at the head of the animal by a preamplifier. Signals are then passed through the low-torque swivel to the data conditioning and acquisition system for final-stage amplification and filtering.

OUR TURN-KEY SYSTEMS are engineered to deliver clean, artifact-free data. Rat preamplifiers amplify and filter EEG and EMG waveforms at the head of the animal. A metal spring coil protects the cabling that connects the preamplifier to a Plastics One swivel. Signals are then passed through the swivel to the data conditioning and acquisition system for final-stage amplification and filtering.

Integrated video recording provides a platform for synchronizing EEG and EMG changes with observable behavioral states. Video can be added to any new or existing hardware system. Captured video is displayed live on screen as it is streamed from the animal and is synchronized with other recorded data in playback mode.

Both SIRENIA® SEIZURE PRO and SIRENIA® SLEEP PRO allow users to create customizable reports and graphs for use in publications and presentations. Pinnacle’s automated sleep deprivation and fragmentation system uses a rotating metal bar to gently sleep deprive mice and rats without direct human intervention. It can be programmed to analyze real-time EEG/EMG activity and trigger bar rotation in response to sleep state.
